Cast: Charles Krauss, Dir. Victorin-Hippolyte Jasset. Plot: In a French port, a pirate crew carouses. Their captain flirts with the innkeeper's daughter, infuriating her pirate lover. A brawl erupts, the captain escapes with his family, and the scorned pirate sets sail for vengeance. A fierce, close-quarters battle ensues, with the enraged pirate destroying his rival's ship in a fiery inferno.
The Pirate's Gold

Young Wilkinson leaves his mother to seek his fortune abroad. Meanwhile, pirates, shipwrecked in a storm, hide their treasure near his cottage. A fight breaks out among them, leaving one survivor who stumbles into the cottage and begs the old woman to hide the gold. He dies, struck down by his wound, and the woman is killed by lightning, leaving the treasure's location a secret.
Wilkinson returns years later, successful but saddened by his mother's death. Eight years pass, and he falls ill and destitute. Driven to despair, he's about to take his life when his wife intervenes. His gun accidentally fires into the fireplace, revealing the hidden pirate treasure and saving them from ruin.
