Johnny Pockets' Return
Having found two convicted members of the Walmart Theft Ring who served relatively short sentences, I became curious about Johnny Pockets. Why hadn't he faced charges? There was little doubt in my mind that he was the mastermind.
Some deep Googling revealed Johnny owned a jewelry shop in Rockland, and guess what? He was back on eBay, selling Rolex watches and expensive jewelry. Well, that answers the question of "Where's the money?" But what baffled me was: Why was law enforcement allowing him to own a business and sell on eBay again? Did he dodge the charges? Was he working with law enforcement like Whitey Bulger, giving them information in exchange for freedom and the ability to continue breaking the law?
Conjecture Time
Then it hit me:
Conjecture: Johnny Pockets painted me as either the leader of his Walmart Theft Ring or the "middle-man" between his operation and a massive, sophisticated East Coast mafia-style Walmart Theft Ring. Maybe he sold me to Homeland Security as a dangerous guy who threatened him and his family.
But how could law enforcement fall for his tall tales? One version of his story aligns with and answers many mysteries about my "case," but there are still holes and unknowns.
Johnny's Good Christmas
One final thing about Johnny Pockets: Judging by his eBay numbers, he had a fantastic Christmas in 2018. When I realized this, I told the only person on earth I trusted: Heidi. I'm not sure when she started talking to Homeland Security, but shortly after the start of 2019, Johnny Pockets' eBay account vanished.
A Few Thoughts on Kunaki
Lastly, some thoughts on Kunaki. It's a website where users can upload media files (audio or video) and artwork, and Kunaki mass-produces and ships CDs or DVDs for a small fee. It's a tremendous and efficient site. There was much discussion during my trial about why I switched to Kunaki for lostmoviefinder.com, but due to my current appeals, I won't say too much. Just know it's a great site, and if you create independent music or films and want to distribute physical media, check them out.
